Jared Meunier

Jared Meunier is AUA’s inaugural Rishta Fellow. He served as English Teacher at Ulugbek School in Qarshi, Uzbekistan in 2022-2023 academic year.

Jared attended Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis studied Cultural Anthropology and History and Philosophy as his minors. Jared has volunteered for Catholic Charities and worked at Amani Family Services, where he primarily worked with Burmese refugees and immigrants. He served as an English teacher in Peace Corps Ukraine from 2018-2020. While in Peace Corps Jared hosted sports clubs alongside English language clubs for his students and local adults. Jared is interested in life and the reemergence of traditional folkways after the fall of the Soviet Union. Jared enjoys reading, writing, watching movies, and hiking in his free time.d
